The game Second Life does not have and end or a specific goal to accomplish while playing. Many other virtual worlds have different goals for you to accomplish while playing. The Sims for example has different tasks that you can accomplish while playing the game. The fact that there are no set goals makes Second Life more lifelike because in real life you have the ability to make your own goals. There are no goals that are set for you when you are born, but you make goals as you go along. The game is very much like this. Because of this reason, I believe that this game has more possibility space. You have the ability to do whatever you want in the game, create whatever you want. There is an endless amount of possibility space in the game.
The name Second Life suggests that this is a "second life" for players to have. The game allows you to create a character and control their life. In a sense you get to "live" a second life through the game. You can make decisions for your character, control what they look like, and basically control their life. It suggests that this virtual world is not real, but can create a space that is much like your first life. By calling it your second life it shows that this game is considered a space, and a life that the player can control.
